New exhibits from artists Aaron Parazette, Jennifer Rubell and Jason Brooks were unveiled at Dallas Contemporary’s VIP opening reception hosted by Casa Dragones Sipping Tequila. Parazette’s abstract works includes a large-scale, site-specific wall painting, while Rubell’s “nutcracker” exhibit allows patrons to crack Texas pecans between the legs of female mannequins. Brooks’ tattoo work is also displayed alongside a short documentary film about the artist. See photos on Facebook.
