Batallón 16 at La Azotea
Moisés Sierra, Master Trainer at the Academia Mexicana de Mixologia and José María Calvo, chef at San Miguel de Allende’s La Azotea took to the bar at La Casa Dragones to create the Batallón 16, an exclusive cocktail with Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco, lemon juice, agave, and more.
1.5 oz. Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco
3 cherry tomatoes
2 epazote leaves
½ oz. yellow Chartreusse
½ oz. agave syrup
1.5 oz. lemon juice
Macerate in a Boston glass the cherry tomatoes and the epazote leaves for 10 seconds. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix in shaker with ice. Double strain and serve in an iced old-fashioned glass.
