Ultimate Margarita at Marc Forgione
Created by Bar Manager Michael Noah of New York City’s Michelin star restaurant, Marc Forgione, the Ultimate Margarita was brought to life after Michael tasted Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco for just the first time. Michael knew from his very first impression of Casa Dragones Blanco that he “had to have it” in his bar. Taking inspiration from the tequila’s notes of grapefruit and green apple, (read more about the unique tasting notes of Casa Dragones Blanco here) Michael chose to create this cocktail recipe as an alternative take on the classic margarita cocktail. By adding fresh lime juice and Cointreau before serving it over ice, The Ultimate Magarita quickly becomes a sweet, refreshing drink perfect for any occasion – especially when served at a restaurant with a former Iron Chef at the helm.
2 oz. of Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco
1 oz. of Cointreau
1 oz. of Lime Juice
A splash of simple syrup
Shake it up, pour over ice and add a simple lime wheel to garnish.
