Chef Paul Bentley and Chef Jesus Escalera at La Casa Dragones
An Exquisite Dinner
At La Casa Dragones, in the historic town of San Miguel de Allende, an exquisite five course dinner, inspired by Tequila Casa Dragones Joven, was prepared for select guests. Specially made personalized bottles, and the ambient glow of candle light in the elegant courtyard, welcomed Chef Matteo Salas, Alberto Laposse, Donnie Masterton, Sally and Roy Azar, Regine and Francois Siccart to a collaboration between two renowned Jalisco-based chefs. Owner of MAGNO: Brasserie, Australian Chef Paul Bentley deftly coordinated Tequila Casa Dragones Joven’s sweet roasted agave notes with a pumpkin ravioli that featured the briny ocean notes of uni, largo and the tart taste of preserved lemon. Chef Jesus Escalera, owner of La Postrería bakery, displayed his passion for elegantly balanced desserts by using inspiration from Casa Dragones Joven’s hazelnut and spice undertones in his mini sesame Ferrero with salted caramel macarons.
