Joshua Bell Cinco de Mayo Education Through Music Benefit
The Celebration
Tequila Casa Dragones brought together award-winning violinist Joshua Bell and celebrated Mexican Chef Enrique Olvera for an unforgettable celebration of Cinco de Mayo. The unprecedented evening was held at Bell’s Manhattan residence and benefited Education Through Music—a New York City based nonprofit that provides music education to disadvantaged schools. Bell treated his guests to an intimate performance that even included traditional Mexican folk music and Estrellita by famed Mexican composer Manuel María Ponce Cuéllar.
A Special Menu
Chef Enrique Olvera prepared a special menu for the guests, provided by his New York restaurant Cosme—recently named best new restaurant by the New York Times. Olvera’s exceptional menu was paired with Tequila Casa Dragones Joven and included dishes like uni tostada with avocado and bone marrow salsa and a husk meringue corn mousse.
