Restocking The Bar for Summer
With Winter gone and Spring but a memory, the longer days of summer seem to coincide with the lowering levels in the bottles on our wet bars and in our cupboards.
It’s time to take stock of what we have left to pour and adjust our tastes and bottle selections accordingly for the lazy hazy days ahead, when sundown sipping and nocturnal nipping are beckoning on the balcony, front porch, or by the family fire pit. So here then, is a summertime selection of spirits representing some of the newest distillations for the short-sleeved days and nights ahead.
Branching out from their highly regarded Casa Dragones Joven, which is a blend of blanco and 5 year-old extra añejo, Casa Dragones has now launched a pure unaged blanco, also made from the same 100% Blue Weber highland agaves, and pure spring-filtered water. With its rich, almost creamy mouthfeel, this tequila is not only ideal only for sipping straight, but can be used for creating the ultimate Margarita. Each bottle is hand signed and labeled with the batch number, in a truly limited edition that takes silver tequila to a whole new level.
