Hans Ulrich Obrist Book Launch in Los Angeles
Tequila Casa Dragones joined Eugenio López, art collector and founder of Museo Jumex, along with Moisés Cosío, Bettina Korek, and Hans Ulrich Obrist to celebrate the publication of Hans Ulrich Obrist’s book ‘Conversations in Mexico’ in his Los Angeles home. ‘Conversations in Mexico‘ beautifully captures how the Mexican cultural scene has pivoted several times to cultivate a wholly radical and innovative aesthetic, one that is illuminated by Mexican architecture, people, art, music, politics and literature. As a prelude to this year’s Printed Matter’s LA Art Book Fair, an event showcasing and celebrating the international artists’ book community, the evening comprised of dinner and conversation for guests, including Jori Finkel of the New York Times, Christina Martinez of Artforum, Elizabeth Chandler from C Magazine, Ben Goldhirsh from GOOD Magazine, and Gary Baum from the Hollywood Reporter. Casa Dragones Joven was paired with hors d’oeuvres and desserts, such as spicy beef tendon chip, hamachi tacos, and lobster rolls, and personalized bottles were also created for this special occasion.
