Sipping on the High Line
Guests joined Friends of the High Line for an intimate dinner and Casa Dragones Sipping Tequila on the Diller-von Furstenberg Sundeck above New York’s iconic Chelsea Market.
This year marked the 2nd annual fundraising event for High Line Art, celebrating Friends of the High Line’s commitment to expanding the role of contemporary art in the life of public spaces and pushing the limits of what public art can be.
Tickets from this year’s event support a monumental site-specific installation on the just-opened High Line at the Rail Yards by world-renowned artist Adrián Villar Rojas, now open until Summer 2015.
Curated by Cecilia Alemani, the Donald R. Mullen, Jr. Curator & Director of High Line Art, and produced by Friends of the High Line, High Line Art invites artists to think of creative ways to engage with the uniqueness of the architecture, history, and design of the High Line.
