Miranda by Jim Meehan and Scott Conant
Please Don’t Tell’s lead bartender Jim Meehan and celebrity chef Scott Conant joined together at the 2015 Aspen Food & Wine Classic to create a uniquely crafted cocktail with Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco. The result was a summery, Italian inspired Miranda cocktail featuring grapefruit juice and Casa Dragones Blanco.
1.5 oz. Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco
1.5 oz. La Spinetta Rosé Wine
.75 oz. Pink Grapefruit Juice
.75 oz. Contratto Aperitif
1 large basil leaf
Muddle the basil leaf with the Aperitif in a mixing glass. Add tequila, grapefruit juice and wine. Stir with ice and fine strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a half a pink grapefruit wheel.
