706% increase in high end tequila

"The Distilled Spirits Council issued a report this week indicating that the high-end tequila category has seen a 706-percent increase in growth in the United States since 2002. Casa Dragones Joven  is a blend of silver and aged tequila that rests for upward of five years in American oak barrels. What comes out of the wood is tequila that’s as gorgeous as the hand-made crystal decanter in which it’s packaged (winner of the coveted Grand Prix Strategies du Luxe design award). Sweet roasted agave and fresh flowers on the nose shepherd in a full-bodied spirit that tastes of vanilla and pear. The finish is clean and mild, with an inkling of hazelnut. "
