Grilled Octopus
At Toro Toro, located in the Intercontinental Hotel in Downtown Miami, Chef Eric Do served a Pan-Latin-inspired pairing of grilled octopus and peruvian adobo fingerling potato salad with a cilantro sauce.
Executive Chef Do tells us, “At Toro Toro we’re all about Pan-Latin cuisine and libations. I chose to pair our Grilled Octopus with Peruvian adobo fingerling potato salad drizzled with cilantro sauce with Casa Dragones because the smoky notes of the tequila pair well with the Mexican spices and flavors of adobo and cilantro. The cilantro also has agave in it which plays well off the blue agave that Casa Dragones is made of and the sweetness of the grilled octopus creates a nice balance with the tequila.”
