Spicy Asam Prawns
Chef Jian Heng Loo of Hakkasan Fountainbleau highlighted the heat of Casa Dragones tequila with a dish of Spicy Asam Prawns and Sweet Buns.
On his inspiration for the pairing, Heng Loo explained, “When I first tasted Casa Dragones, I noticed the tequila exhibits some heat; that’s why I thought the Spicy Assam Prawns in Baby Coconut – prawns with curry leaf, okra, yomatoes, coconut milk, curry, and chili, served with sweet buns – would pair perfectly with Casa Dragones. The prawns are also a little sweet and that goes very nicely with this blue agave tequila.”
