Stonington Maine Lobster at The French Laundry
At one of the top restaurants in the world, the Chef Thomas Keller created a spectacular lobster pairing that plays on the complexity of notes found in Tequila Casa Dragones Joven.
For the unique dish, Keller began with fresh Stonington Maine lobster caught on one of the best seaports in the country. The lobster was poached to perfection in sweet butter and to serve, Keller added ruby grapefruit, nasturtium leaves, fennel pollen and lavash flatbread. For a added creamy element, the dish was topped with a creamy garden mint “Mousseline.”
The velvet textures of the dish highlight the silky body of Tequila Casa Dragones Joven and the sweetness of the butter balances well with the subtle hints of vanilla and smooth taste of Tequila Casa Dragones Joven.
The French Laundry, based deep in amongst the wineries in the countryside of Napa Valley has been titled as one of the “World’s 50 Best Restaurants”, with head chef Thomas Keller holding 7 Michelin stars.
