The dress code said “Great Beauty” and those in attendance—Alexa Chung, Hailey Baldwin, Paloma Elsesser—brought it in spades. The #lastSaturdayinAprilparty annually hosted by Sally Singer was delayed a week to make way for May flowers at Forlini’s, the Old World Italian restaurant on Baxter Street.

There, nestled inside the blush-color banquette booths, was a glittering crowd including models Hannah Ferguson (who prepped for the evening with some help from beauty brand Glamglow), Grace Hartzel (who punctuated her ensemble with Blue Nile jewelry), and nightlife empress Ladyfag. Guests dined on Italian fare (official hashtag: #spaghettiandMetballs) before celebrating Cinco de Mayo with the help of Takumi Taco. Byredo’s luxe scents wafted through the air while guests including Ashley Graham, Kate Bosworth, Michael Polish, and Hailey Benton Gates sipped on Casa Dragones tequila, Kim Crawford wines, and Perrier-Jouët Champagne.

Moses Sumney kept everyone rapt during a soulful performance, which segued into Charlie Klarsfeld deejaying into the wee hours. The rare guest who departed the dance floor was welcomed to the line at Eddie’s Churros truck, where rainbow-color churro-cannoli hybrid had been especially concocted for the night—a fitting fusion dessert for a many-faceted evening.
