Michelada Primaverde by Jim Meehan
James Beard Award Winning Mixologist and Owner of New York City’s P.D.T (Please Don’t Tell), Jim Meehan has created the Michelada Primaverde exclusively with Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco. A mixture of dry vermouth and tomatillo juice is complemented perfectly by a splash of Victoria beer and a spicy, salted rim for a refreshing, summer cocktail.
2 oz. Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco
3/4 oz. Dolin Dry Vermouth
3/4 oz. Lime Juice
3/4 oz. Tomatillo Juice
1/2 oz. Agave Syrup
¼ Seeded Jalapeño
4 oz. Mexican Lager Beer
Muddle the jalapeño & agave syrup. Add the rest of the ingredients. Fine strain 2 oz. of the mixture (and reserve the rest) into a kosher salt or sal de gusano rimmed pilsner glass filled with ice. Top with 4 oz. Mexican Lager beer. Garnish with a slice of jalapeño.
