Inspired by kurimanzutto’s intergenerational program, which is defined by a rich history of artists learning from each other, as well as our dynamic tradition of exploration and inquiry, FUTURE DIALOGUES focuses on the exchange of knowledge and ideas for an audience of tomorrow’s artists and thought leaders in New York City and beyond.

The series is led by five pioneering artists: Minerva Cuevas, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Carlos Amorales, Bárbara Sánchez-Kane, and Roberto Gil de Montes.
Joan Jonas & Carlos Amorales
The third session of FUTURE DIALOGUES, a series of conversations between artists and creatives hosted by kurimanzutto, Casa Dragones and INTERprotection joins together Joan Jonas and Carlos Amorales. The artists discussed contemporary subjects linked to their work and how they met as artist teacher and student.
Abraham Cruzvillegas & Julie Mehretu
In the second rendition of FURURE DIALOGUES, a series presented by kurimanzutto, Casa Dragones, and Interproteccion, Abraham Cruzvillegas and Julie Mehretu discuss his latest exhibition on display, Little Songs. The conversation dives deep into Cruzvillegas’s inspiration and the symbolic pigments and colors used in this exhibition.

The inaugural program for FUTURE DIALOGUES a series of conversations between artists and creatives hosted by kurimanzutto, Casa Dragones and INTERprotection. Together, the artists will discuss contemporary subjects linked to their work such as the social and environmental crisis, and how art and cultural practices at large respond to them.

Barbara Sánchez Kane & Rirkrit Tiravanija
In this edition of FUTURE DIALOGUES, a series presented by kurimanzutto, Interproteccion, and Casa Dragones; Mexican Artist, Bárbara Sanchez Kane and Rirkrit discuss Bárbara's first ever solo exhibition titled New Lexicons for Embodiment, a show that explores the connection between fashion and art.

Kane engages in a conversation with Rirkrit about her exploration of clothing and its role in shaping our individuality and influencing our interactions with society and the world. She also delves into her creative process, discussing her affinity for deconstructing and repurposing things, even if the outcome seems unconventional. This practice extends to her sculptural pieces, where she embraces the unexpected.
