A Space with History

San Miguel de Allende needs no introduction. It is one of Mexico’s most important colonial cities, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and named the world’s best small city. The building dates back to 1671, when it served as one of the area’s most important stables, housing the elite cavalry squadron of the ruling class. After many years functioning as a kind of barracks, it was eventually abandoned and fell into disrepair.
