PRE-ORDER POLICY & FAQ'S

What is a Pre-order and how do I purchase a Pre-order?

ReserveBar works with our brand partners to offer select, new, exclusive or limited-release products through a pre-order.


When a product is available for pre-order, there is a limited quantity of pre-order inventory available for purchase. Once the limit has been met, no additional pre-orders can be placed.  


Pre-orders are made available through our website or brand partner websites. Product availability is on a first-come first-served basis.


Pre-orders are offered at a nationwide price provided by our retail fulfillment partners during the pre-order sale period. After the pre-order sale period has concluded, prices will be variable and set by our retail fulfillment partners per beverage alcohol laws.

Are there any restrictions on purchasing a Pre-order?

Some pre-orders are subject to quantity limits per order and will be indicated as such on the product page of our website or brand partner website. The pre-order purchase quantity is final at the time of order and no adjustments will be granted.


The pre-order purchase price is final at the time of order. No price match or price adjustments will be granted.
Pre-orders are excluded from site-wide promotional offers.

Why was my Pre-order cancelled?

In rare cases, the original inventory quantities may not be available at the time of fulfillment due to breakage or other reasons related to the distribution of the product. In the event we can provide an opportunity to place that order with another fulfilling retailer, we will. If the pre-order product cannot be fulfilled you will be notified by our customer experience team and your order will be canceled.


Any other cancellation requests will follow ReserveBar’s general cancellation policy.

How is my payment processed for my Pre-order?

Though a credit card is required to place a pre-order, it will not be charged until the product is ready to ship. At checkout, you will see “Amount Due Today” for all purchases excluding the pre-order product total and applicable taxes and fees.

 

If your credit card is replaced or expires before the pre-order is fulfilled, please contact our Customer Experience Team. Payments that cannot be authorized prior to fulfillment may delay the fulfillment of your order or put your order at risk of cancellation.

 

If we are not notified of payment updates prior to fulfillment and your payment method is declined or expired we will reach out to you with a secure payment link to update it.

 

If your payment method was declined for any reason, you will need to contact your payment provider to ensure it does not get declined again.

 

ReserveBar reserves the right to cancel any pre-orders that do not receive an updated payment method within 10 days of the payment authorization attempt.

When will my Pre-order ship?

ReserveBar works with our brand partners and retail fulfillment partners to provide a general ETA on when your order will be fulfilled. We provide an ETA/shipping date on our website during the pre-order period. However, due to the nature of beverage alcohol, product availability timing differs by state, and as a result, shipping timelines may vary. Shipping and delivery dates are not guaranteed for any pre-order.

Once you receive tracking information, please note that it may take several days for the tracking information to update depending on the carrier used.

Address Changes

We understand that address changes may be requested for pre-orders due to the extended fulfillment timelines.
Beverage alcohol laws require us to select retail fulfillment partners that can compliantly deliver to your destination geography. If an address change is requested for a pre-order, please contact our Customer Experience Team and we will make every effort to find a fulfillment partner that can accommodate this request.


In the event our retail fulfillment partner cannot deliver to the new address provided, one of the following options will be presented:
• Cancel/refund order
• Request to send to a FedEx or UPS pick-up location (only eligible for orders where FedEx or UPS is the carrier)

 

 

Returned Orders

Shipping carriers typically follow three (3) delivery attempts before returning an order back to the fulfilling retail partner.

 

In the event a pre-order is returned to the fulfilling retail partner, your order will be canceled and refunded. Original shipping charges and platform service fees will not be refunded for pre-orders. In addition, a $15 return-to-sender fee and a $20 restocking fee will be charged.
