STOREFRONT GALA 2025
September, 2025
On September 15, 2025, Storefront for Art and Architecture hosted its annual Gala at The Grand Oyster Bar in New York City. The evening was composed of a distinguished audience of architects, artists, curators, designers, collectors, and patrons from the international art and architecture community. Honorees included Keller Easterling, Toshiko Mori, and Paul Pfeiffer, whose work continues to shape the cultural and architectural landscape.
Casa Dragones was honored to continue its longstanding partnership with Storefront, sponsoring the Gala for the sixth year in a row. Guests were welcomed with Casa Dragones Joven during cocktail hour, along with a curated Casa Dragones Joven and oyster pairing. For dessert, guests sipped Casa Dragones Añejo Barrel Blend served neat with an orange twist, before continuing the evening at the after party, where Casa Dragones Margaritas were served.
Founded in 1982 by Kyong Park, Storefront began as a 10 x 21 ft space on Prince Street, opening with Performance A–Z, a landmark series featuring Carolee Schneeman, Arleen Schloss, Tehching Hsieh, and others. Four years later, Storefront moved to its permanent home on Kenmare Street, a uniquely shaped triangular space at the border of Soho and Little Italy. Over the decades, Storefront has become a vital cultural institution, positioning art and architecture at the center of public life and engaging the creative community in the defense and reimagining of public space.
Blending legacy, innovation, and community, the Storefront Gala was a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and tequila — and Casa Dragones was honored to raise a glass in support of its mission.
