MARGARITA AL PASTOR

José Luis León crafts a creative spin on the Margarita with authentic taco flavors blended with traditional ingredients, for a cocktail reminiscent of drinking tequila and eating tacos at the same time.

Recipe
  • 1 ½ oz. Casa Dragones Blanco
  • ⅔ oz. Cointreau
  • ½ oz. Lime Juice
  • 1 ½ oz. Taco Mix*
  • 1 Pineapple triangle

Rim a rocks glass with salt. Shake all ingredients with ice. Double strain into a rocks glass with ice. Garnish with a pineapple triangle.

*For a homemade taco mix, add 1 ½ oz pineapple juice, ⅔ oz. water, 3 gr. fresh coriander, 3 gr. mint, 3 gr. basil, and ½ oz agave syrup with serrano chile.

MARGARITA ROYALE

Yana Volfson crafts a festive take on a classic Margarita by adding champagne to her perfectly balanced cocktail.

Recipe
  • 1 oz. Casa Dragones Blanco
  • ¾ oz. Giffard Triple Sec
  • ¾ oz. Lime Juice 
  • 2½ oz. Champagne

Combine all ingredients except for champagne in a cocktail shaker. Shake with ice, strain into a Nick & Nora glass and top with champagne.

Berenice Morales' butterfly-pea sour — Casa Dragones Blanco infused with butterfly-pea-flower tincture turns electric blue; a grapefruit-skin oleo saccharum, Limoncello, and lime shake it into a sunset-purple coupe. Egg white for the silky crown.

  • 1½ oz. Casa Dragones Blanco
  • 1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz. Grapefruit Skin Oleo Saccharum
  • ½ oz. Limoncello
  • 1 Egg White

Shamrock

Fabiola Padilla's cucumber-pineapple coupe — fresh cucumber and pineapple juices for clean green body, St-Germain threading elderflower lift, lemon and agave tightening. An edible clover, basil, or chamomile flower on top.


Recipe
  • 1 ½ oz. Casa Dragones Blanco
  • ¼ oz. St-Germain
  • 1 oz. Fresh Cucumber Juice
  • 1 oz. Fresh Pineapple Juice
  • ½ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
  • ¼ oz. Agave Syrup

Pour all the ingredients into a shaker with ice. Hard shake until the outside of the shaker frosts up. Double strain your cocktail into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with one edible clover, or small green basil leaves and chamomile flowers.

  • 2 oz. Casa Dragones Blanco
  • ¾ oz. Lemon Juice
  • ¾ oz. Honey Syrup

A More Mexican Margarita

Yana Volfson's Mandarin Margarita — mandarin-infused Triple Sec for the orange vector, orange-blossom water perfuming the top, mandarin-infused salt on the rim. Casa Dragones Blanco at 1.5 oz, lime at half.

Recipe
  • 1 ½ oz. Casa Dragones Blanco
  • ¾ oz. Mandarin Infused Triple Sec
  • ½ oz. Fresh Lime Juice
  • Orange Blossom Water
  • Mandarin Infused Salt

Mix all ingredients on a shaker and serve over ice

DRAGONI

A Fino-sherry Martini — 2.75 tbsp of Fino Sherry Tio Pepe layered with house vermouth and Maraschino liqueur, lemon tightening. Casa Dragones Blanco at 1 ½ oz. Stirred over ice, served up.

  • 1 oz. Housemade Vermouth

  • 1 ⅓ oz. Fino Sherry Tio Pepe

  • ½ oz. Maraschino Liqueur

  • 1 tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice

Summer Clericot

A Mexican Clericot — Fino sherry split 1:1 with Blanco, cucumber juice and aloe vera stretching it long, rosemary syrup threading pine, lime for bite. Served with lime wheels and peppermint leaves — garden in a glass.
