Casa Dragones, the renowned ultra-premium tequila house co-founded by Bertha González Nieves, proudly announces its role as the main spirits sponsor for the grand opening of Anima Village, the country’s most anticipated new luxury lifestyle destination. To mark this milestone, Casa Dragones debuted an exclusive cocktail experience for the opening night on December 4th and will continue the celebration with a dedicated
two-week pop-up bar, inviting guests to explore the art of sipping tequila.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Cabo del Sol, Casa Dragones joins the Sordo Madaleno family and the SOMA group in a shared vision of sophistication and architectural excellence. The collaboration highlights a mutual commitment to elevating Mexican craftsmanship and creating spaces that foster genuine connection.
THE OPENING NIGHT: A VILLAGE-WIDE CELEBRATION
As the main spirits partner for the inauguration, Casa Dragones curated a presence that flowed throughout the entire destination. The epicenter of the evening was a stunning, 360-degree bar, an architectural focal point decorated with the house’s iconic blue boxes and elaborate floral arrangements paying homage to the native flora of Baja.
Here, guests were treated to the exclusive debut of the Aura cocktail. Created by Alfredo Pineda, Head Bartender at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal and winner of the "Casa Dragones Jamming Sessions 2025," Aura is a refined blend of Casa Dragones Blanco, damiana, mint, and a sage infusion, finished with a touch of soda and a strawberry garnish. The serve offers a fresh, elegant profile deeply connected to the spirit of Anima Village.
Beyond the main installation, the brand’s footprint extended across the village. Guests at varying touchpoints throughout Anima were invited to explore the distinct nuances of the portfolio, with the "Perfect Serve" of all four expressions— Tequila Blanco, Joven, Reposado Mizunara, and Añejo Barrel Blend—available at bars throughout the venue.
THE POP-UP: A MIRRORED REFLECTION OF LUXURY
Following the opening gala, Casa Dragones will extend its residence at Anima Village with a dedicated pop-up bar open to the public for two weeks. For this limited engagement, the experience transforms into a bespoke mirrored bar, exclusively designed to reflect the stunning architecture and natural beauty of the surroundings.
Designed to cater to luxury shoppers and travelers during the festive season, this installation will serve as a destination for education and discovery. During the day, guests can enjoy guided tastings and perfect serves, while the space doubles as a premier "Gifting Station." Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase personalized bottles and exclusive gift sets, securing the ultimate taste of Mexico for the holidays.
