MONUMENTS AT MOCA AND THE BRICK

On October 23, 2025, Casa Dragones joined The Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles and The Brick to celebrate the opening of MONUMENTS, an ambitious exhibition examining how public memorials shape national identity and historical memory.

Co-curated by Hamza Walker, Bennett Simpson, and Kara Walker, the exhibition brings together decommissioned monuments, many bearing the marks of time, removal, and protest, alongside newly commissioned works by contemporary artists such as Bethany Collins, Karon Davis, Cauleen Smith, and Kahlil Robert Irving. Through this dialogue, MONUMENTS reconsiders the power of collective memory and the evolving language of commemoration in America.

Guests marked the occasion with the With Love, Tequila cocktail crafted with Casa Dragones Blanco as well as sipping on our signature Casa Dragones Rocks, and Casa Dragones Reposado served neat, while personalized Casa Dragones Joven bottles were presented to honorees and curators in recognition of their vision and dialogue.
