A SEASON OUT EAST

Five summer gatherings brought Casa Dragones to Montauk, East Hampton, Bridgehampton and Southampton.

The Hamptons kept a full calendar this summer, and Casa Dragones was part of it. At The Surf Lodge’s Sunset Supper Club, Gaz Herbert and Scott McKay brought Comal’s contemporary Mexican cooking from the Lower East Side to Montauk for one night. In Springs, designer Lyndsay Caleo Karol and sculptor Fitzhugh Karol opened their home for Perfect Earth Project’s Home, Health, Happy!, supporting toxic-free, nature-based land care.

In Southampton, supporters gathered for A Summer Odyssey at the restored nonprofit Southampton Playhouse. At Topping Rose House in Bridgehampton, bar teams from Rosewood Mayakoba, Rosewood Mandarina, Las Ventanas al Paraíso and Rosewood San Miguel de Allende presented regional cocktails featuring Casa Dragones. The season continued in East Hampton, where Purist founder Cristina Cuomo hosted an afternoon with Bal Harbour Shops, including a sound bath, lunch in the garden and an acoustic performance by Bella V.
