AT HOME WITH MEYER DAVIS
The launch of The Language of Home brought Casa Dragones together with the studio behind the restoration of La Casa Dragones.
New York City | September 2026
Before Meyer Davis became known for hospitality projects around the world, the studio began with private residences.
Its new book, The Language of Home, returns to that foundation. The studio’s first residential monograph brings together seven homes and a yacht through photography, drawings, sketches and material studies, offering a closer look at how Will Meyer and Gray Davis approach the idea of home.
Written by Marc Kristal and Meyer Davis, with a foreword by Jenna Lyons, the book moves across city apartments, coastal and lakeside residences and a Mexican villa. Beyond finished rooms, its material boards and drawings reveal some of the decisions behind them.
Casa Dragones joined two New York occasions for the launch of The Language of Home. The first, held in a penthouse at 56 Leonard in Tribeca, featured personalized bottles of Casa Dragones Joven. The second, Cocktails & Conversations at Casa Cipriani, featured a panel discussion with Jenna Lyons, moderated by Galerie’s Jackie Terrebonne. Guests enjoyed Dragones Rocks and Blood Orange Margaritas.
Meyer Davis also restored La Casa Dragones in San Miguel de Allende, a historic seventeenth-century building whose interiors bring contemporary Mexican design together with mid-century pieces from the Bajío, with design curation by Ana Elena Mallet and Raúl Cabra.
