Casa Dragones and Gabriel Orozco Pay Tribute to Mexico City's Legendary Stadium

Titled "El Coloso de Santa Úrsula – Architect Pedro Ramírez Vázquez," this new Casa Dragones Joven Artist Edition, curated by Gabriel Orozco, celebrates one of Mexico's most iconic architectural and cultural landmarks: the legendary stadium designed by Pedro Ramírez Vázquez. In 2026, the venue will make history as the first—and only—stadium in the world to host three FIFA World Cup tournaments.

The release joins Casa Dragones' acclaimed Artist Editions series and finds an ideal creative partner in Gabriel Orozco, whose contemporary vision reinterprets the stadium's monumental architecture. The deep blue presentation case features a textured finish inspired by the stadium's exposed concrete, while the geometric lines of its signature structural arches extend across both the packaging and the hand-engraved crystal decanter. Completing the design, a green ribbon encircles the neck of the bottle, bearing the years in which Mexico hosted the FIFA World Cup—1970, 1986, and 2026.

Inside the collector's piece is Casa Dragones Joven, a 100% Blue Agave tequila crafted from a blend of blanco and extra añejo tequilas. The result is an elegant, silky, and layered expression designed to be savored slowly.

The collaboration also honors the enduring legacy of Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, one of the defining figures of modern Mexican architecture and the visionary behind landmarks including the National Museum of Anthropology, the New Basilica of Guadalupe, and the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro. Limited to just 2,026 individually hand-numbered bottles, the special edition brings together three distinct expressions of Mexican excellence: the architectural legacy of Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, the artistic vision of Gabriel Orozco, and the artisanal craftsmanship of Casa Dragones.
