GABRIEL OROZCO: PARTITURAS WITH CASA DRAGONES AT MARIAN GOODMAN & FRENCHETTE

On September 12, 2025, Marian Goodman Gallery opened Gabriel Orozco: Partituras, a new series of paintings that take their starting point in music. Having long practiced piano improvisation, Orozco compares this practice to drawing in time and space, using sound and acoustics. The Partituras paintings explore the translation of these musical sketches into his distinctive geometric language, creating works that resonate with shifting rhythms, tempos, and the intersections between sound, time, and space.

As longtime friends of Gabriel Orozco, Casa Dragones was honored to be a partner of the afterparty hosted at Frenchette, the acclaimed Tribeca restaurant recognized for its modern French cuisine and vibrant role within New York’s cultural and creative community. Artists, curators, and patrons, including Orozco himself, Rirkrit Tiravanija, José Kuri, Mónica Manzutto, Julia Moretti and more gathered for this intimate yet lively celebration. Guests enjoyed signature serves such as Casa Dragones Reposado Mizunara served neat with an orange twist, Casa Dragones Joven, as well as craft cocktail El Emperador, a Casa Dragones Blanco cocktail with Forthave red aperitivo and lemon.

The evening was a true convergence of art, friendship, and tequila - a celebration of cultural innovation and craftsmanship, with Casa Dragones at the heart of the night’s toasts.
