An intimate six-seat tasting destination dedicated to guided exploration of the Casa Dragones collection, located within Dôce 18 Concept House. Conceived as the smallest tequila bar in the world, the space offers a focused encounter with Casa Dragones Sipping Tequilas through conversation, material presence, and sensory attention.
THE SMALLEST TEQUILA BAR IN THE WORLD
The Casa Dragones Tasting Room was created to provide a transportive experience centered on the character of Casa Dragones tequila and its terroir.
More than 4,000 obsidian tiles line the walls and ceiling of the space—each crafted from volcanic stone sourced from the natural soil of Casa Dragones’ agave fields. The result is a setting where material, landscape, and tequila are brought into direct relationship.
Its scale creates an environment that is distinctly personal: a place to sip, observe, and understand the collection in close proximity.
TEQUILA TASTING EXPERIENCE

Each session introduces the portfolio in a structured format led by Casa Dragones Education Specialists, offering context on production, terroir, and tasting approach within an intentionally intimate setting.
MATERIAL LANGUAGE: OBSIDIAN AND GOLD
Obsidian a define the architectural atmosphere of the Tasting Room.
The obsidian—drawn from volcanic terrain associated with Casa Dragones’ agave fields—anchors the space in Mexican geology and craft tradition. Gold leaf introduces a quiet luminosity that reflects light across the tiled surfaces, reinforcing the ceremonial character of the tasting experience.
Together, these materials frame the encounter between landscape and liquid.
TRANSFORMING OBSIDIAN INTO PURE BEAUTY
Watch as raw obsidian boulders, collected from the natural volcanic soil of Casa Dragones’ agave fields, are transformed into over 4,000 beautifully iridescent tiles to adorn the walls and ceiling of Casa Dragones Tasting Room.
