Tequila Casa Dragones took part in celebrating interior designer Sasha Bikoff’s new showroom at the Hampton’s Holiday House by joining her “Midnight Swim” dinner party at her home in Amagansett. Iris Danker, Rohan Oza, Jared Seligman, Lauren Fastenberg, and Fiona Byrne were among those in attendance of the extravagant party. Sasha Bikoff’s unique flair for pastels and vibrant designs, found in the arrangements that she is known for, were the focal point of the evening’s aesthetic. The poolside party featured the Tequila Casa Dragones “Honey Do Me” cocktail by Cliff of Le Boudoir Brooklyn, served before and after the exquisite grilled fish and chili squid salad dinner NYC’s Café Henrie.
Much Ado About Madoo, an elegant Southampton garden party and benefit, featured a specialty Tequila Casa Dragones bar, a garden market, and a benefit auction in celebration of organic gardening. At the beautiful Madoo Conservatory gardens, Honorary Chairmen Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonon invited guests to celebrate 50 years of using organic practices in the Madoo gardens, and they raised funds by featuring a garden market with antiques, plants, and home accessories. Tequila Casa Dragones joined the Madoo garden party with the Pink Panther cocktail, served cold and fresh over a custom artisan Wythe bar made from Cocobolo.
Tequila Casa Dragones was pleased to join iHeartRadio in New York City in a new effort to reach people through the impact of music. iHeartRadio launched their new custom Work Radio live station for WeWork with the Casa Dragones Blanco signature “Keep Hustling” cocktail, and with the understanding that music can have a great and measurable effect on a work space. WeWork offers communal workspaces for individuals, agencies, and larger countries around the country.
Tequila Casa Dragones joined Brazilian architect and developer Isay Weinfeld in celebrating the impressive opening of Jardim, his new addition to West Chelsea in New York City, with the “Dragão no Jardim” cocktail by Rael Petit. Beyoncé is an additional developer of Jardim, and is also behind a main ingredient of “Dragão no Jardim”: WTRMLN WTR. The brilliant construction of the cocktail, consisting of Casa Dragones Blanco, lemon, honey, and WTRMLN WTR, was a perfect complement to the architectural event. Jardim will be a striking addition to the New York City skyline while remaining part of the already established modern aesthetic of West Chelsea.
Just in time for Father’s Day, Tequila Casa Dragones hosted a unique pairing of cigars and Casa Dragones Joven with cigar expert Koichi Garcia at Palacio de Hierro in Mexico City. Mr. Garcia paired the Davidoff Escurio Petit Robusto cigar with Casa Dragones Joven, highlighting their complementary flavors and mouth textures. Mexico’s top sommelier, Sandra Fernandez and Chef Guillermo Martinez of La Cantina prepared a six-course menu, with each delicately prepared to pair perfectly with Casa Dragones Joven. The exciting combination of food, cigars, and Casa Dragones Joven made for a palate-pleasing afternoon that celebrated fatherhood in style.
Tequila Casa Dragones was joined by chefs Elena Reygadas of Rosetta, Mexico City and Josh Capon of Lure Fishbar, chef Tom Colicchio, fashion designer Lela Rose, Chef Masa Takayama, chef Camilla Becerra, and restauranteur John McDonald for a spectacular evening of oysters and tequila aboard the Freedom Yacht, a beautifully restored 1920’s Trumpy.
Tequila Casa Dragones traveled across the ocean to Japan with Dolce Nero Chocolate atelier for the Tokyo art exhibit, Galería de Arte de la Embajada de México. Elegant Mexican artwork and sculptures were on display, as well as personalized bottle of Casa Dragones Joven with “Mexico” written on the label in Japanese. Kanpai!
Tequila Casa Dragones joined Perfect Earth Project at a celebration in the Hamptons as they launched their first summer event, Lawn Party for the Ponds. The event featured the Casa Dragones Blanco Pink Panther cocktail, lawn games, a stunning view of Georgica Pond, and music from Peter Duchin. Perfect Earth Project is a non-profit organization built for a healthier earth, and they were hosted by Friends of Georgica Pond Foundation on their stunning estate by the water.
Tequila Casa Dragones was excited to join Africa’sOut!: a vibrant event supporting social change in Africa through artwork, creativity, and originality. Africa’sOut! featured music from Santigold, Moon Medicine, and Solange Knowles, and appearances from David Schwimmer, Hank Willis Thomas, and Zoe Beckman. Started by Kenyan artist Wangechi Mutu, Africa’sOut! uses the combination of art and activism to further their cause. While the Africa’sOut! benefit raised support for their in-house initiatives that support the artistic community, they also raised significant support for Uhai Eashri, an organization that protects the rights of the LGBTQI community in Eastern Africa.
Tequila Casa Dragones joined the 2016 Artadia Benefit Auction featuring inventive artwork for auction, dubbed ‘Unrestricted.’ The auction was held to promote artists and their future creative projects across all mediums. Tequila Casa Dragones’ Unrestricted cocktail, a blend of Casa Dragones Blanco, Orgeat syrup, Joto Yuza Sake, fresh lime juice, and Gonzalez Amontillado Sherry, was served to guests as they browsed through a gallery of paintings and sculptures. Artadia is a non-profit organization that graciously brings together curators and artists for the unrestricted benefit of the artists, whose mission is to unequivocally support the overall careers of artists through financial means and also through recognition. Artadia’s event represents a larger community of creatives and supporters alike that congregate in the name of creativity and originality.
The combination of delicious food and Tequila Casa Dragones Joven made for a unique experience for diners at Four Seasons Orlando on the evening of May 28. Lula Martin del Campo, the accomplished Mexican chef, author, and philanthropist, created a five-course meal to be paired with Casa Dragones’ exclusive Sipping Tequila. Four Seasons’ Executive Sous Chef Samuel Faggetti created the meals along with Chef Lula. Chef Lula is the Executive Chef at HSBC Bank in Mexico City, and owns Restaurante Roca and Restaurante Carbon in Mexico. The Chefs made Achiote fish ceviche, Tequila Granita, Green Tomatillo and mushroom soup, Steak with cojita cheese sauce, Yellowtail Snapper with chayote, and Corn Brûlée Dessert. Chef Lula’s simple, colorful, and beautifully arranged recipes were a welcomed addition at Four Seasons. Working with one another and playing off of the other’s tastes and textures, these masterfully crafted courses and the Joven cocktails culminated in a truly elegant and authentic, Mexican meal.
Tequila Casa Dragones kicked off its summer by attending a PPHP East End Summer Benefit in a fundraising effort to support health care and education for the East End. Native New Yorker and Emmy award-winning actress Martha Plimpton was the event’s special guest, in addition to musicians Jesse Harris, Star Rover, and DJ Twilo, who entertained all that were there. A light drizzle could not dampen the otherwise lighthearted event supporting a good cause; the Bridgehampton celebration found its attendees in good spirits and ready to enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks, most notably the featured Tequila Casa Dragones Blanco cocktail, “Summer is Coming.” Everyone in attendance provided valuable support for Planned Parenthood Hudson Peconic, Inc. and the services they provide to their communities, new and old.
