Tequila Casa Dragones is excited to be part of SMAFF, the San Miguel Allende Food Festival, a reflection of the Mexican culinary world and an incredible assembly of talented local chefs using local products. The two-day festival at Hacienda Los Picachos was open to the public, creating an inclusive, dynamic environment for enjoying authentic food and Casa Dragones Joven.
The Elle Decoration international network awarded Mexican design firm Tane with the prestigious EDIDA 2016 crystal ball award for local talent. Sylvie Ligonie of Tane and Patricia Vasconselos of Elle Décor toasted to unique Mexican craftsmanship and artistry with Casa Dragones Joven in a night of celebration and elegance.
We were deeply honored to celebrate and bid farewell to the historic Four Seasons restaurant at their Citymeals on Wheels benefit dinner with top chefs from across the country. Chefs Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Pecko Zantilaveevan, Jim Hutchison, and other notable culinary masters created an exquisite menu with a final Pine Nut Galette dessert by Thomas Keller paired with Casa Dragones Joven. The combined efforts of the chefs delighted attendees, brought significant support for Citymeals on Wheels, and was a noteworthy sendoff for the remarkable Four Seasons restaurant at the Seagram building in New York City.
Tequila Casa Dragones joined Hotel Thompson Playa Del Carmen in a contemporary and relaxed beachside cookout in celebration of the 4th of July weekend. Thompson Playa Del Carmen’s executive chef Pedro Abascal, chef Rick Bayless of Chicago’s Frontera Grill, chef Paul Bentley of Magno Brasserie in Guadalajara, and chef Alfredo Villanueva of XBX Cafe in San Pedro Garza Garcia treated partygoers to dishes paired with Casa Dragones Joven. With live music, Casa Dragones Joven, and delicious Mexican cuisine like Carnitas de Pulp and Mextlapique, Thompson Playa Del Carmen set off the 4th of July celebrations with flying colors.
Tequila Casa Dragones joined the Carlota Restaurant and Hotel in their Anniversary Palomazo, a celebration that assembled local chefs Sofía Cortina and Joaquín Cardoso of the Carlota Restaurant, and Mexican chefs Enrique Olvera, Jair Tellez, Olivier Deboise, Edo Kobayashi, Hiyoko Yakitorii-Ya, Edgar Núñez,Tomás Bermudez, Matteo Salas, and Eduardo García. In this cozy but lively event with a superb menu, guests sipped Casa Dragones Joven while visiting each chef’s specialized station to experience delightful pairings with Casa Dragones Joven.
