From beachside views to popular local hangouts, here are the best places to enjoy a cocktail off-duty.
All too familiar to New Yorkers, an easy trip out to the Hamptons makes for a popular, blissful weekend escape in the summertime. Whether coming out for a day or a long weekend, you can hop on the Jitney bus, the LIRR, drive, or skip the crowds and traffic altogether fly BLADE (use “Dragones” for $100 off your first flight). And for when you get there, we’ve rounded up our favorite local spots where you can kick back, unwind, and enjoy Casa Dragones signature craft cocktails.
Stay at Gurney’s Montauk for the full luxury experience that includes waterfront dining, lavish spas, and an array of inviting restaurants. Opt for an escape to the quieter parts of town on Shelter Island’s Sunset Beach Hotel where private porches look out to a private beach on the bay.

For the beach lovers, lounge in shaded hammocks or jam to live music while sipping on the Casa Verde cocktail at the Surf Lodge. Go to Moby’s to satisfy your seafood cravings alongside expansive views of the harbor. Other nearby favorites include East Hampton Grill, an intimate locale known for its hearty comfort food, the charming Red Bar Brasserie, and Nick and Toni’s where a menu of seasonally inspired meals can be enjoyed in a Tuscan farmhouse setting.
Sag Harbor has a diverse selection of restaurants. From classic French cuisine at Le Bilboquet to unique wood-fired cooking at Lulu Kitchen & Bar or locally inspired dishes at the Hamptons first ever winery-owned restaurant, Wölffer Kitchen, there’s something for everyone.
End the weekend at Eleven Madison Park’s seasonal pop-up, the E.M.P Summer House, for a sip of Dragones Rocks. The world-famous Daniel Humm establishment has partnered with American Express for the second year in a row to bring a more casual dining experience to East Hampton.
