Day of the Dead on the Tequila Train
In honor of Día de Muertos, Casa Dragones and the Napa Valley Wine Train sent the Tequila Train on the Tequila Train a scenic route through the Napa Valley on Thursday, Nov. 1, celebration included. The three-hour journey featured signature cocktail The Stumblebee and Dragones Rocks, as well as a sit-down dinner by Chef Luis Arellano of Criollo in Oaxaca. The four-course meal, paired with Tequila Casa Dragones Joven, began with soft-shell crabs and clams, followed by pumpkin cooked in brown sugar with heirloom tomatoes, eggplant, and burrata. The main dish featured Ribeye con Chichilo, and guests finished with sweet potato tamale with pineapple, cacao nibs, and almond. It was a pleasure to celebrate Día de Muertos aboard the Napa Valley Wine Train and we’re so thrilled Chef Luis was able to join us. Thank you for an amazing meal!
