The Jamming Sessions: New York City
A warm New York summer night became the ideal backdrop for our second jamming session celebrating the first batch of Casa Dragones Blanco hosted by Co-Founders Bertha González Nieves and Bob Pittman aboard the Freedom Yacht. Restored to perfection, the sister ship of the U.S.S. Sequoia Presidential Yacht is an elegant 1930’s yacht that shares our passion for craftsmanship. Taking inspiration from musical jamming sessions, world class chefs and bartenders were teamed up to create spontaneous new cocktails, using one constant ingredient: Casa Dragones Blanco. Inspired by its refined taste and crisp notes, the teams crafted innovative cocktails using fresh seasonal produce and specialty ingredients. The teams included: Mexico’s Chef Enrique Olvera of the restaurant Pujol and mixologist Dave Arnold of Booker and Dax; Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo from New York’s restaurant Frankies Spuntino, and Sasha Petraske from Milk & Honey; PDT’s and James Beard Award winner, Jim Meehan with Chef Jamie Bissonnette from Coppa.
