Mexican Bicentennial
We celebrated our spirit of independence by unveiling “The Box,” a 10-meter high replica of the Casa Dragones box, at the spectacular Museo de la Ciudad de México. It was our official Bicentennial party, celebrating 200 years of Mexican Independence. The legendary Dragones of San Miguel, our namesake, sparked one of the movements that lead to this historic date in Mexican history. The stunning 18th century colonial setting featured a cello player, dancers and an amazing live vocal performance by Mercedes Nasta. Guests included Patricia Bernal, Rafael Micha, Zelika García, Oscar Madrazo, Enrique Guerrero, Cristina Faesler, Fabiola Campomanes, Arleth Teran, and Alexia Camil. Sipping made possible by Casa Dragones! Viva México!
