Pairing dinner at Redbird Los Angeles with chef Donnie Masterton
On Wednesday, August 22, Casa Dragones co-hosted a special pairing dinner at Redbird Los Angeles with guest chef Donnie Masterton, founder of San Miguel de Allende’s The Restaurant. Masterton—who has created unique pairings for Casa Dragones in the past—worked with Redbird chef Neal Fraser to craft an exclusive menu for the evening.
Guests enjoyed an intimate evening in the garden starting with Dragones Rocks and the Pretty in Pink cocktail made of Casa Dragones Blanco, grapefruit, lime, agave, salt, and carbonation. After a few drinks and passed bites, the chefs presented a family-style meal, which included escabeche mussel tostadas, tequila cured salmon, and duck confit tamales, followed by a dessert of crema panna cotta with watermelon granita, sprinkled with chile lime dust paired with Casa Dragones Joven.
